The Chutescoop is a very clever piece of gear designed to make setting and dousing any spinnaker safe and hassle free.
It consists of a narrow tubular sleeve which is attached to the head that pulls down over the spinnaker "furling" it into a tame bundle that can be lowered easily. To set the spinnaker the process is reversed. The spinnaker filled sock is raised from the halyard, secured, and then the sock is pulled up off the sail allowing it to fill.
The Chutescoop is delivered completely assembled and takes just a few minutes to install.

Chutescoop's are sized according to sail luff measurements. Use the "I" dimension of your boat if the luff is not known.
Chutescoop sleeves should be shorter than the luff. On cruising spinnakers, use a Chutescoop that stops just short of the leech clew. On poled chutes, allow 3 to 4 feet of sail below the sleeve to permit the pole to be trimmed.
Some customers may desire a Chutescoop length that nearly covers the entire sail. In this case, order a size closest to the sail length. If doubt exists as to which size to order, select the larger size as you can simply shorten the length.
